the makeup artist tilts mary’s chin up with two fingers dusts powder over her cheekbones like she’s painting on something that already exists like she’s making art out of something that was already a masterpiece pandora watches from her chair hands gripping the armrests so tight her nails leave little crescent moons in the leather mary doesn’t notice or if she does she doesn’t care she’s laughing at something the director said tilting her head back in that way that makes her look effortless like she was made for the camera like she was born with a spotlight already burning behind her eyes

action the clapperboard snaps shut mary turns to pandora with that expression soft open like something fragile like something secret just between them her fingers brush over pandora’s wrist warm lingering for half a second too long it’s electric it’s scripted it’s nothing but pandora swears she feels it in her ribs like a second heartbeat

cut mary pulls away with a grin shakes out her hair like she’s shaking off the scene already moving on already gone pandora is still standing there still caught in the moment like an insect in amber her pulse in her throat the taste of something bittersweet behind her teeth she swallows it down watches mary walk away watches her hug the cameraman watches her lean against the wall scrolling through her phone like she didn’t just look at pandora like that like she didn’t just whisper words that weren’t hers but felt too real anyway

later in the dressing room mary’s laughing again phone pressed to her ear voice warm sweet like she’s talking to someone she loves pandora watches her through the mirror feels something ugly curl up in her stomach something desperate something hungry

it was just a scene just a job just another love story told in thirty takes but pandora’s still holding onto the line still waiting for someone to yell cut

The most deadly and yet gentle being roaming Tamriel. My beloved Dunmer 𝒜𝓂𝓊𝓇 𝒜𝓇𝓊𝒽𝓃 𝐵𝑒𝓇𝒶𝓃 𝒱𝒶𝓇𝒶𝓃𝒾𝓈 𝒮𝒶𝒹𝒶𝓈 𝑜𝒻 𝐻𝑜𝓊𝓈𝑒 𝒯𝑒𝓁𝓋𝒶𝓃𝓃𝒾 - better known as Aru Sadrith. Member of the Jeek Krin, blessed with a lovely voice and one hell of a guitar player. Member of the Morag Tong and the Thiefs Guild, born into nobility, fled in his youth. He changed his name and his looks so that his family would not find him (again). He bears the scars of a few rough years of his life and now he avoids to look in a mirror. I still find him most beautiful though - and I hope there are a few amongst you thinking the same. I love his young version as much as I love his scarred older one, and will never get over his absolutely perfect profile. Dunmer are most beautiful - even if there are a few who might not think so...

I hope I will be able to tell a bit more about my little mischievous group the Jeek Krin. And I still have this huge commission of the four of them on stage on my bucket list :>

Every month my tolerance for uwu small artist crap falls by a small percent. The whole internet is already ads and corporations and now the small business hearted artists are doing numbers in every art community

No, it's not unacceptable for someone to have your drawing as a tattoo or phone background without asking, that's not how art or copyright or etiquette works

No, it's not reasonable to tell people not to 'take inspiration' from things, that's ludicrous

No, it's not an insult to like a post and not reblog it, people don't owe you growth or algorithm obedience

No, it's not reasonable to guilt or threaten people, that's obnoxious at best and harmful to some people at worst

No, IP law isn't a good thing for small creators, it isn't good for anyone but large companies who exploit them

And no, people don't owe you anything. Yes, even if you put hard work in. Yes, this is actually good for everyone, even if it's not ideal for you. There's more to artist communities than sharing each other's paypals and acting obnoxious, and other people's blogs are not walking wallets with eyes. People will engage with and pay for stuff when they feel like it, that's how everything has been forever, stop trying to make people miserable and guilty just for your misunderstanding of how art as business works.
